Hi, I am new to Linux and am trying to give a few different OS a spin on virtual box before deciding what to go for on my main machine. I love the look of Backslash Kristoff and am trying to install it but I cannot get the desktop installer to work. I went through the command line at boot, entering backslash as the user, no pa**word, then using startx. When I get to the desktop GUI I have what looks like an error icon and I cannot click continue. Please see the image. Any help would be really appreciated

Install BackSlash on real hardware. You will be however able to click continue in VirtualBox in the bottom right hand corner

The continue button is not clickable. I of course would install on a real machine if I could actually check it out in virtual first.

It is clearly stated on www.backslashlinux.com that installing on virtual machines is not recommended. However, I will advise you to go with VMWare instead of Virtualbox. BackSlash Linux is little bit more compatible with the virtual machine structure of VMWare. As of the real machine, you can test the whole system live before installing it.
