i keep getting the error that i do not have enough space left on device. although my /boot partition still has room for another 500 MB. Backslash Olaf installed perfectly, but i do not know why Kristoff isn't being able to be installed

Kristoff needs more memory. Please install the system again and don't configure any extra partitions other than the root (/) partition. You can optionally configure swap space as well. The other things would be configured dynamically according to the need by the system.

Where as i am moving from another distro to Backslash Linux, and there is no option to format the / while booting off the USB, i can not even enter the Live Boot enviornment, as i still receive the out of space error.

More memory means you need more RAM
